# Data API overview

> Read Solana token, wallet, price, trade, and PnL data over REST.

Use the Data API when your app needs indexed Solana market data: token details, prices, charts, holders, wallets, trades, and PnL. For live updates, use [Datastream](https://docs.solanatracker.io/datastream/overview.md).

* **Base URL**: `https://data.solanatracker.io`
* **Authentication**: Your API key in the `x-api-key` header
* **Plans**: Free plan includes 10,000 requests a month at 3 requests a second. See [pricing and limits](https://docs.solanatracker.io/pricing.md).

## Make a request

Get a key from the [dashboard](https://www.solanatracker.io/account/data-api), then call any endpoint:
